There is a new bus terminal in Berat 1.5km before town. Most of the time busses arrive in the the center and depart from the new terminal. But every once and awhile busses do arrive to the terminal. Whatever the case, here are the directions.

FROM THE CENTER

ASK the bus driver to drop you off at PALMA HOTEL.

NEXT to the Palma Hotel there is the river and a suspension footbridge over it, cross the footbridge to the neighborhood of Gorica, where the hostel is located.

CROSS THE STREET, walk up the steps directly across from the bridge past ANTIGONI RESTAURANT, and continue up the narrow street for 10 or so minutes. You will see the sign for the hostel on the right hand side!

FROM THE TERMINAL

WE WILL PICK YOU UP. If you arrive to the terminal outside of town, we will come and pick you up free of charge. Just ring the hostel phone (355) 69 785 4219

IF FOR WHATEVER REASON we are not available to pick you up…

BY CITY BUS

When you get off at the BUS TERMINAL, cross the street and get on the orange city bus (30 lek) that heads into town. (Don’t be confused. They only run one route.)

GET OFF the bus on the 5th stop, go back down the hill towards the HOTEL PALMA.

NEXT to the Hotel Palma there is the river and a suspension footbridge over it, cross the footbridge to the neighborhood of Gorica, where the hostel is located.

CROSS THE STREET, walk up the steps directly across from the bridge past ANTIGONI RESTAURANT, and continue up the narrow street for 10 or so minutes. You will see the sign for the hostel on the right hand side!

BY TAXI

ASK the taxi driver to take you to Gorica, “Hotel Scotty” or “English guy” (If the driver is unsure have him call 069 785 4219)

If you get lost, ask anyone for Hotel Scotty. That’s what the locals call the place.
