Cumberland House is a great choice of accommodation when you are passing through Gatwick. We are only 2 miles from the Airport. We offer a Warm Welcome, a comfortable and clean Bed for the night, wonderful showers, a Full English Breakfast in the morning that you will remember forever, Free Courtsey Transfers to and from Gatwick, and a 16th Century Pub just along the road. Everything the weary traveller could wish for. Occasionally, we can offer an ensuite room 'room only' for a few hours daytime if you need somewhere to put your head down and / or freshen up. This is an arrangement we would discuss on the day. This would not be pre-bookable. To take advantage of our free ride to Cumberland House; our collection point from Gatwick Airport is immediately outside the 'Car Rentals' office. You will find Car Rentals at both North and South Terminials on Arrivals floor. You will need to telephone Cumberland House from the airport to let us know that you are ready and waiting. The public telephones at the airport take 10p, 20p & 50p British Coins. Our Full English Breakfast is served between 7am and 9am which consists of bacon, sausage, egg, tomato, mushrooms, baked beans, hash brown, fruit juice, toast and jam, tea/coffee. You will never leave our table hungry. Gluten Free and Vegetarian Breakfasts are an option. All of our bedrooms have an en-suite shower room and in addition, two of the rooms have a bath & shower. All of our bedrooms are adaptable to suit your individual accommodation needs. In addition there is one ground floor twin bedded room if you find stairs a difficulty. We include in our rooms, tea/coffee/hot chocolate trays, colour television, thermostatically controlled radiators for the cooler weather and electric fans for the warmer weather. Hairdryers and ironing facilities are available on request. We have a wireless connection for your laptop, therefore you can surf the web while you relax. Cumberland House is within easy walking distance of Horley town centre where you will find shops, banks and restaurants to suit every taste. The variety of cuisine includes, Italian, Chinese, Indian and Mediterranean. If you prefer traditional English food why not try Ye Olde Six Bells which is only 250 yards from our guest house. London Victoria is only 42 minutes by train travelling from Horley Railway Station. A cheap day return ticket, travelling from either Gatwick or Horley to London Victoria is only £10.00 per person travelling after 09:30hrs. A great opportunity to see London attractions! For those of you who wish to drive to Cumberland House and leave the car with us while you travel from Gatwick; we have limited long term spaces available to our guests. All cars stay on our premises and the charge is £3.00 per day. You will need to have a space reserved for your car. Overnight parking while you stay at Cumberland House is free.
