Driving From Athens:
There are two routes from Athens. The easy is via Patras (330 km). . The harder but most picturesque is via Vytina (303 km). You will drive towards Tripolis after Corinth, but after the tunnel you will find the junction to Ancient Olympia, through the mountains of Arkadia.

Several KTEL ILIAS busses daily from the Peloponnese terminal (Kifissou ave. 100) . You travel to Pyrgos (4 hours) and there immediate connections to Olympia. (25 min.)
