By Taxi: We work with a small number of reliable taxi drivers based in Sekenani with well maintained and licensed small PSV’s. They charge KES 10,000 each way from Nairobi and KES 5000 each way from Narok to Sekenani. If you are interested to use a taxi to or from camp we can arrange that for you.

By Public Transport: Take a Narok Line matatu from Nyamakima in Nairobi CBD early (approx 7am) to Narok which should cost approx. KES 400 and arrive in around 2-3 hours. Once in Narok walk 5mins or catch a boda-boda to the central bus station (opposite Naivas supermarket) anyone you ask will direct you. Once there book a seat on a shared taxi to Sekenani, it should cost approx. KES 500 and depart Narok at lunchtime. Expect it to take around 3 hours to get to Mara Explorers and do not take it all the way to Sekenani as we are 3.5km before, if you ask the driver he should drop you off at the main road 300mtrs from camp. Some of the shared taxi’s will bring you all the way inside camp as they know us. We recommend you keep the phone number of the camp with you at all times incase of any problems.

If you plan to use public transport please be aware the shared taxi's leave Sekenani to Narok around 5-7am and also on Sundays public transport between Maasai Mara and Narok is unreliable.

By Road: If you’re self-driving and have GPS our co-ordinates are as follows S 01º 29.565′ E 035º 21.645′
