Located in the village of Canggu, Ombak Bagus Homestay is an ideal place for exploring the nearby surf spots of Canggu, Brawa and Pererenan. We are 30 minutes drive from Kuta. Situated in a rural and quiet setting it offers a taste of everyday Balinese village life. You can reach several great surf spots within a 10 minutes drive. If you want to go shopping or clubbing, the busy tourist areas of Kuta and Legian are only a 20-30 minutes drive away. Also one of Bali's most photographed sites, the temple of Tanah Lot is close by, here you can enjoy a beautiful sunset. So if you are looking for a place from which to explore the surfspots of Bali's westcoast, or just to spend some quiet, relaxing time, come stay at Ombak Bagus Homestay! We offer the following facilities: three rooms, 1 with 1 double bed, 1 with 2 twin beds and 1 with 1 bunkbed for 2 people, one shared bathroom with cold water, a common living room where you can watch your own or our (surf) DVDs, as well as an outside seating area. From october onwards we will have 2 rooms in total: 1 double room, and 1 drom for 4 people. We offer cheap hot and cold drinks, as well as meals and snacks, information on walking tours through the surrounding rice fields, various tours and activities, surf lessons, motorbikes for rent, surfboards for rent as well as use of the washing machine. Please note that we are located 4 km from the beach (not really walking distance in the Balinese climate). Facilities that are at walking distance from our homestay include a telephone shop, small local warungs to eat, and some small mini markets. If you want to go to the beach, internet, etc we advice you to have your own transport, ie a rented motorbike or car. Otherwise taxi's are available on call, but this is not very convenient.
