Hello Travelers!

You can get to Ringo's Foyer Guest House quite easily from the Central bus terminal. We are only two blocks northwest of Chinatown and the address is 46-A Portugis Road (not the Portugis Settlement outside of town). From the bus terminal, a taxi will cost you 15RM. Tell the taxi driver you want to go to Pei Teck School and we are just across the street above the JI XIANG Steamboat restaurant.

The bus is only 1RM and you can take just about any bus that says "Ocean" or "Mahkota." These buses leave from platform numbers 6,7,8,16, and 18 and take about 10-15 minutes. Since the bus routes change frequently, ask the bus driver if he goes by the Kampung Hulu Mosque or the Jalan Hang Tuah Mall. If he lets you off at the Mosque you are behind the Guest House. We are the four-story building that you see over the Mosque. It's only a 2 minute walk. If you get down at the mall, just walk in the direction of the bus to the Shell Petrol Station and turn left. First you will see a four-story building on your left with the Hallmark hotel and then you will see our building on the next block. Now the Pei Teck School is on your right. The walk is about 10 minutes.

The train is not the best option as the closest train station to Maleka is Tampin almost an hour away. You can arrange a taxi for 60-80RM if this is the best option for you.

Normal trip time from Singapore by bus is only 4 hours and from Kuala Lumpur only 2 hours. We look forward to meeting you and we hope you can join us on one of our free nightly bike tours around beautiful Melaka!
