The staff is AMAZING and the location and price were also GREAT! My issue with this hostel was the other guests. They seemed very young, mainly American (70%), and the partying type. If you're looking to meet a variety of people who AREN'T 18 yo Americans who are enjoying being able to legally drink, consider staying elsewhere. Also, there are only 3 toilet stalls for the entire hostel. Plug outlets are rare upstairs (only 2 spots for my 8 bed dorm). And there was a patch of mold on my ceiling.
Dear Guest, thank you for your feedback!!! We are sorry that you didn't appreciate more our Young and Happy atmosphere, especially in this time of the year. Refurbishing is previewed soon... See you next time!!!

Booked a 6 bed dorm and got a 4 bed instead (score!). Conveniently located next to the train station (our room was very quiet though) and an easy 20 minute walk to the Old Town and beach. They provide a towel, no charge, and our room had excellent AC. Shower was clean and had good water pressure. Lockers are under the beds and can be awkward to open due to the narrowness between beds. The wine event in the evenings at 7pm was popular -- be on time; the wine runs out quickly.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay here very much. Fulvia and her daughter were extremely welcoming and friendly. They clearly love Genoa and were happy to share their insight about what to do in town with us. There are 2 bathrooms/showers for the B&B, both clean, and we had no issues or wait times for them. Breakfast is delicious. We will definitely stay here again if we ever find ourselves in Genoa in the future.

I loved this hostel! Great location right by the train station. 20-30 minute walk to the tower but it is a nice walk through a shopping area (my companion and I stopped for granitas along the way -- we also found a stunning Keith Haring wall). Staff was very helpful (washed our laundry for 4€ - no dryer but there is a clothesline in the back yard). All you can eat buffet for lunch and dinner (7€ each) including a drink. Clean, air conditioned. WiFi was awful, though.

Good location -- easy walk from train station and to the main city sites. Lockers are on the small side so my backpack didn't fit in the locker for my bunk. There is a locked storage room for luggage, though, but the front desk gives the key to anyone who asks without checking if they are staying there or not. Room was hot but that was to be expected of a 16 bed dorm (was also musty/dusty, which gave me a stuffy nose and throat). Friendly staff. Would probably stay again.

Stayed in a female 4 bed ensuite. The room had AC, was clean, and the lockers were large (bring your own lock). The shower in the bathroom had good pressure. The staff was friendly and they offer free wine in the common area at night. Breakfast is light but free. Had no trouble walking into the center of Rome. I would definitely stay here again. One note: single female travellers, I suggest arriving the first time during daylight as the area around Termini station is a bit sketchy at night.
