Pros: top location, VERY clean rooms, amazing shower, very fast wifi Cons: restrictions like no alcohol (so you can only buy from their bar), no guests, can't access the kitchen after 7pm. They enforce the first two points further by appointing a security guard at the door on weekends. Weird design of the private room (bunk ABOVE the double bed?). Overall staff are curt and offhand, especially kitchen staff who were outright rude (telling me off in Spanish for not returning a plate, which I did)

This is one of the best hostels I've stayed in. The owners George and Stella are very friendly and would go out of their way to help you out. The place is centrally located, wifi is strong, the rooms are all clean and serviced daily, even the showers are so clean that puts most hotels in Athens to shame. But more importantly, I felt like I belonged to a family here and even had photos taken with George's mother. If I was to return to Meteora I would revisit this hostel without hesitation.

Can't fault this place. The staff were all excellent and very friendly and helpful. The room was kept clean, and even the ensuite toilet was high tech and shower water was hot. I especially loved the free walking tour, macha and tempura cooking class and writting class, all hosted by the amazing Osaka-san. A special word out to you sensei.

Great atmosphere, excellent staff, great breakfast included, awesome located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter (if that is what you're after). I LOVE the nightly activities organised and the free evening meals every Tue and Thur night. And it goes quiet after 11pm (except the common room if you still want to party) so you can get some sleep if you want that. I can't fault this place.
