Group Booking Terms and Conditions

Because you are making a Group Booking, there are additional Terms and Conditions that apply. Please read them and click 'I Accept' below to continue with your booking

General Group Booking Terms

By making a group reservation through Hostelworld.com you agree to the following terms and conditions as set by Hostelworld.com and as set by the hostel in question.

  • In order to make a group reservation on Hostelworld.com it is necessary to pay a deposit. The balance is due directly to the hostel according to their payment conditions.
  • The booking deposit is non-refundable.
  • Please note that any cancellations must be notified directly to the hostel at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled arrival date, unless otherwise stated in the hostel's conditions.
  • Hostelworld.com are not responsible for changes or amendments to your reservation once it has been processed. All correspondence with regard to changes to your booking need to be dealt with directly with the hostel.
  • Cancellations for reservations must be made directly with the hostel and must conform with the individual hostels cancellation policy (see below)
  • It is your responsibility to pay the balance of your accommodation cost to the hostel in accordance with their payment conditions (see below). Failure to do so may result in your reservation being cancelled by the hostel.
  • Individual hostels may have special booking conditions relating to group stays, please read the hostel booking conditions carefully before making your reservation.

Hostel Specific Terms & Conditions

The remainder of the amount due will be charged to your credit card 4 weeks prior to arrival. Should numbers or room selection change, the per person deposit times the number of people who actually travelled will be deducted from the total accommodation charge levvied by the hostel.

Cancellation / No Show & Reduction in Numbers Policy

PLEASE NOTE: Hostelworld Guests will be charged 50% of the balance due once booked and this is non-refundable. The total balance due will be charged automatically 14 days before arrival. Non-payment will result in cancellation, so card details must be kept up to date. Groups of 8 or more guests - full payment is required 30 days prior to Arrival.

GROUPS of 8+ guests pay in full 30 days in advance
ARRIVAL - from 17:00 hrs until 22:00 hrs
LATE ARRIVALS ARE NOT ACCEPTED AFTER 10:00 PM, except by prior arrangement, when a per-person Late Access Fee is payable (Strictly no access after 22:45 hrs)
LATE TRAIN ARRIVALS - alight Banavie Station. Retain train ticket for Late Access Fee refund
SECURITY - access is by door-code issued on arrival & bedroom smart key-card (or code provided)
LOCKERS - a refundable key deposit is payable - enquire at Reception
TOWELS - please bring your own. If you forget, you can hire one at Reception
WI-FI - free, but is not suitable for movie downloading
PHOTO ID is required from the lead booker, who MUST be staying at the hostel
STAFF/OWNERS are resident on the premises overnight
DEPARTURE - by 10:00 hrs, when hostel closes for Cleaning
DAY-TIME CLOSURE - closed between 10:00 am & 5:00 pm for Cleaning & Staff time off
BREAKFAST-TO-GO - buy on Arrival. Available for collection until 9.30 am daily.
SELF-SERVE-BREAKFAST - (not available currently)
SELF-CATERING KITCHEN and DINING - guests using these facilities must clean and tidy after themselves and be respectful of other guests. The kitchen facility closes at 10:00 am and 10:00 pm daily (not available currently)
CASH - not accepted. Minimum Card Payment £5
SNACKS SERVICE - Book and pay online after arrival (bottled water, crisps, chocolate, etc)
ADVANCE PAYMENTS - Direct Bookers pay a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the (total) balance due, to secure. The remaining balance due will be PROCESSED AUTOMATICALLY 30 DAYS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL. If a card expires or payment is declined your booking may be cancelled
BOOKINGS made on a non-refundable basis are processed 100% at the time of reservation
CANCELLATIONS - refer to booking confirmation. Cancellations must be notified in writing or by email. No refund shall be payable on bookings made on a Non-Refundable basis; however if the cancelled accommodation is re-sold then a partial repayment may be made, at our sole discretion
CANCELLATION BY US - if we must cancel a booking due to circumstances beyond our control, e.g. fire, flood, prolonged loss of power supply, governmental restriction, etc we shall award a full refund. We shall not be liable for any consequential loss incurred
GROUP SECURITY DEPOSIT - Groups may be requested to pay a 'good behaviour deposit' of up to £25 per person before their stay, refundable 3 days after stay
MODIFICATIONS - Bookings made on a non-refundable basis cannot be modified. Other modifications are accepted only at our discretion. Additions require a new booking request to be submitted online. Cancellation fees shall be applied if numbers are reduced. If date change is required the original booking must first be cancelled, when deposit fees shall be retained. A new booking must then be submitted. Deposit fees may not be credited to a new booking
SMOKING - It is an offence to smoke indoors. Please smoke well away from the building
GOOD BEHAVIOUR IS EXPECTED - we are neither a party hostel nor a pub. We do not accept Hen or Stag parties, the Trades, nor Children under 5 years. Guests behaving in a manner compromising other guests’ comfort or enjoyment of the facilities or causing them to feel unsafe or insecure may be asked to leave immediately with no refund of fees
NO-NOISE POLICY - we expect quiet between 22:30 hrs and 07:00 hrs. LIGHTS in public areas are switched off at 22:45 hours, when the main door is secured
KEYS, LOCKER KEYS or CODE FOBS LOST OR NOT RETURNED - a lost key charge of £10.00 may be charged from the payment card

The following group types are not accepted by this hostel: Junior / Primary School, Business Trip, Stag/Hen/Bachelor Party If you have misrepresented the type of group you are booking for, your booking may be cancelled by the hostel."

Any cancellations resulting from agreement to these terms and conditions under false pretences will result in loss of deposit.

Beskrivelse av overnattingssted

Dette vandrerhjemmet er familieeid og administrert, og ligger ved Banavie, nær Caledonian Canal, en beliggenhet med fantastisk utsikt over Ben Nevis og bare litt utenfor Fort William sentrum. Lochy Bar, Moorings Hotel & Bistro ligger en kort spasertur unna for måltider og forfriskninger etter en lang dag på bakken eller omvisning i det skotske høylandet. Gjester kan velge kontinental FROKOST og gratis Wi-Fi er tilgjengelig. Banavie jernbanestasjon ligger kun 200 meter unna.

Nylig pusset opp, har vandrerhjemmet 38 senger i en blanding av PRIVATE 4, 5, 6, 7 og 8 soverom, og dekker behovene til enkeltpersoner, familier, backpackere og små grupper. Det er et selvbetjent kjøkken (tildelt tid) hvis du ønsker å lage dine egne måltider, men du kan også ta måltider lokalt. Vi tilbyr for øyeblikket et frokost-til-gå-alternativ, og snacks og drikke er tilgjengelig. Siden vi er litt utenfor byen, håper vi å tilby en bedre natts søvn før din energiske dag på åsene enn du kanskje får "i byen".

Våre GJESTER - Vandrerhjemmet er et populært stoppested for entusiaster på 3-toppsutfordringen, turgåere på Great Glen Way og West Highland Way og passer for besøkende til terrengsykkelutfordringene i nærheten, vannsportsentusiaster og kan til og med organisere et fjell guide for å ta deg opp Ben Nevis. Ryggsekkturister fra hele verden har hatt glede av oppholdet.

BEN NEVIS - På toppen av alt dette er området kjent for å ha den beste utsikten over Ben Nevis, det høyeste fjellet i Storbritannia.

DAMPTOG - Galtvortekspressen. Hvis du er mindre energisk, kan du besøke Neptunes Staircase eller kjøre på det berømte Jacobite Steam Train som er omtalt i Harry Potter-filmene, som "Hogwarts Express".

Kom og opplev dette fantastiske stedet...! Våre attester viser at vi er et av de beste vandrerhjemmene i nærheten av Ben Nevis.

MERK: Gjestene vil bli belastet med 50 % av restbeløpet etter bestilling, og dette kan ikke refunderes. Den totale saldoen belastes automatisk 30 dager før ankomst. Manglende betaling vil føre til kansellering, så kortopplysningene må holdes oppdatert.

Hvis du reiser med SENE TOGET eller ikke er i stand til å ankomme når resepsjonen er åpen (mellom kl. 17.00 og 22.00), MÅ du ringe for å forhåndsavtale ankomst med personalet. En liten avgift kan påløpe per gjest som ankommer utenom resepsjonens åpningstider. Av hensyn til gjestenes sikkerhet og sikkerhet vil ankomster etter kl. 22.45 STRENGT bli nektet.

PARKERING - Vår vandrerhjemsparkering er liten og opererer etter førstemann til mølla-prinsippet, men det er en offentlig parkeringsplass og gateparkering 50 meter unna.

Hovedbestilleren må oppgi bilde-ID som samsvarer med navnet på bestillingen for å få tilgang.
