Lovely staff! Good for backpackers looking for a good price hostel, it has everything you need It’s right in town, but to the beach it was a 20 min walk that felt soo long under the sun. Good thing that nice locals give you a ride Nice plus is the fresh fruit and veggies store right across the street, OH and the restaurant omg best place price and taste. The fries and cocktails 100/10

Beautiful hostel which I believe in high season has a lot of potential. There is a huge bar with garden where you can hang out and at night they put a movie while you can enjoy a cocktail. The staff was very helpful and nice. Rooms were also fine. I liked the location as it is just a 5 minute walk to the beach and close to shops and restaurants.

The location and staff is nice. We got lucky with the people staying there and had an amazing social experience, but we think it easily could have been very different, since there are only one dorm and it is more a restaurant.

I liked this hostel but it felt a lot more like a restaurant than a hostel. The main part is actually a restaurant (with great food, actually), but for this reason it was lacking slightly in terms of hostel vibes. It also had limited hanging out spaces (and the hanging out spaces they had weren’t very comfy), and only 2 hammocks. Beware: Santa Catalina is hot hot hot and the AC in the dorm could’ve been a little colder at night.

Overall good and comfortable. The kitchen could use some work as it’s very dirty and there r so many flies. Dorm room is very nice tho with good AC all day and comfortable beds.

I loved the staff and the room was also nice! It’s just really small, just one dorm , so not a lot of social vibes or area to chill. Other than that, nothing bad to say!

Dirty, construction and cockroaches. They should care more about the hostel instead of the bar/restaurant. There's lockers and water.

Pros: good location, very nice staff, cabañas/tents are fun in concept, had comfortable beds and were clean. Good price. Cons: cabaña zippers are broken, and mosquito nets are full of holes and neighbours have garbage fires and roosters right outside, so getting a good night's sleep is pretty difficult. Clean toilets and sink (shared with restaurant) but dirty shower facilities. We didn't need to use them, but the kitchen facilities were dubious, and they are building new facilities.
