Wild Rover Huacachina is a low-cost party hostel located in the heart of Huacachina desert oasis. We are a no frills, all thrills experience. When booking late for new year’s, beggars can’t be choosers. I was later warned that this was a party hostel - which has never been my thing - and indeed it was. Hoping against hope that at least the rooms were quiet, I found the bass to be pumping and literally shaking my bed. These were the two most miserable days I’ve spent in 25+ years of staying in hostels.
Might work for someone else, though, but I’ll keep a wide berth.

I've been traveling for 5 months, one of the best hostels I've been to. The only downsides are that there is no air conditioning and the beds are really tight. But the bar in the hotel is crazy, the restaurant is delicious and the most important thing I learned from the hostels is that the people at the reception are extremely cute

The hostel was nice and clean but I didn’t sleep at all because the room was far too hot. The fan in the room didn’t function well (it was pointed towards the ground) and didn’t help, there was no air conditioning and the bed pods conserved all the heat from the day. It was too hot and uncomfortable to sleep at all. The staff member at the front desk was very nice and tried to be helpful but there wasn’t much he could do as he said all the rooms were the same so there was no point in moving.
