Ananas Guesthouse is build by a backpacker for backpackers, couples and group of travelers,
The place we build is designed for the diverse public as we propose 3 private room & 1 dorm all with air-con, private bathroom with hot & cold shower. Spacious, clean, the dorm offer lockers, side lamp and outlet for each bed.
A restaurant/bar is available on site to enjoy breakfast on the morning and beers or cocktails at night.
Ananas Guesthouse is located far enough from the noise and the party but only 800m from Panagama, where you can find most of the restaurants, bars and dive shops. You can also do some snorkeling to see well protect coral reef about 200m from the property.
We can arrange for you all type of activities but also give you precious information and advice in order for you to fully enjoy your stay in our amazing town.

A quiet place a short walk away from all the action. There is a quiet beach nearby. Good free breakfast and very helpful staff. The dogs were adorable.

This is the BEST hostel we have stayed in on our travels so far! The beds were comfy with curtains, the bathrooms in the room and shared were so clean, the staff were the friendliest & loveliest people! The family dinners were so good and great for socialising, and the free breakfast was incredible!! All round 10/10 experience and we couldn’t recommend staying at Ananas enough! Simon is the best hostel owner and now a friend for life! Thank you, Love from B and L

It’s a really nice and friendly guesthouse - staff was always helpful. The owner gave me a free ride for my mountain bike tour and let me check out late for no extra costs. It’s a 10-15 min walk to ‘downtown Moalboal’, for me that was the main downside.
People there tend to be slightly older than those on more centrally located hostels.
An area with hammocks or some chairs to lie down would be amazing. The privacy curtains in the dorm are too thin and short they don’t really do the job.
And finally a wish from a European music lover: listing to a short playlist of the same 20 soft tunes in the reception area is really a killer - longer and much more varied playlists please 🙏
