Hostal El Cid is a great colonial house built in 1926 with decorated ceilings and walls located in Vedado, La Havana, Cuba. Provides a restaurant, a 24-hour front desk, bar, garden, barbecue and sun terrace.

Really loved my stay at El Cid. The owner Juan Carlos is truly amazing, and makes you feel like family during your stay! He knows all of Havana and Cuba like the back of his hand, and gives really detailed information, even down to the exact corner to wait for a certain bus line. The WiFi is also very good here, since Juan Carlos shares his data hotspot, making it easy to send messages, make calls, and browse emails. Also, if you email him in advance, he can give you important arrival advice!
