Great location near the beach, but rooms need better security as they lack locksâ€”typical for Palomino. WiFi could be stronger in the rooms, and unlike most Selinas, this one didnâ€™t have hot water. However, the staff were much friendlier compared to other Selinas, where they can often be less approachable. Overall, a good stay despite some minor issues.

A disappointing stay unfortunately. The dorm I booked was not the one pictured, it was in much worse condition. Keys werenâ€™t provided which meant anyone could walk in at any point (the hostel isnâ€™t contained so when I say anyone, I mean anyone off the street). The water coming out of the taps was yellow and smelt awful, ditto the showers. Staff polite but indifferent, atmosphere wasnâ€™t particularly social. Not aligned with great experiences at other Selinas unfortunately, and very overpriced.

The worst place to stay in Palomino. This is not like any other Selina I've ever stayed at, this is an old beach hotel that's been loosely renovated with a light Selina influence. The food and coffee is really terrible and overpriced, the drinks were either watery and flavourless or way too strong. The rooms were old and musty with poorly maintained, 50-year old installations. They shrank our clothes, even though we asked 3 times that they be washed and dried on cool settings.
