I was very glad I had a private room. It was very clean. One of the showers were out of order and so there would be a wait for the other one. The fridge had a door broken and my food was always in a different place than I put it (even putting it all the way in the back). It was hard to cook. There is only 1 stove and only 3 burners worked. Not a good method for lighting them either. I’m also fine with taking my shoes off to go inside but the floor was not clean and shoes were never where you left them the n

This is a SOCIAL PARTY HOSTEL. If you're planning to explore the island early every day, this might not be your place. However, everybody was super friendly and nice. They don't have lockers for personal belongings and the room I stayed in, people kept either the door or the walk-in-window-doors open all the time that caused me anxiety about my stuff. They had one sink and mirror for two toilets and showers which was inconvenient. Also, the light in the room turned of every 5 minutes.
