This hostel is great for those of you prone to some outdoor fun. Just a short walk from Interlaken-Ost Railway Station (ideal for cold winters!) and close to the Jungfrau Mountains, staying here means you’re well connected for travelling around Interlaken and you’ll have the chance to enjoy a spectacular view. The kitchen has some great facilities and there’s a supermarket just two minutes away if you’re working with a budget and need to buy your own supplies. If you opt for the hostel breakfast, expect a traditionally Swiss affair, with fruit, cereal, salami and toast.

As a guest at our youth hostel in the heart of the Bernese Oberland, you'll find public transport right at your doorstep which can take you to the most stunning sights on Lakes Brienz and Thun as well as in the Bernese Alps. I was in a six person room with a family of five, this is not the expectation from a youth hostel. Bed outlets are practically unusable. Common room was all families and children. However, great location, nice rooms and bathrooms, free bag storage before/after checkout was great.
