Montreux is inspirational. This musical town's charm has already cast a spell over many famous celebrities such as Charlie Chaplin, Freddie Mercury and Igor Stravinsky. Thanks to its Mediterranean climate and a pleasant, cosmopolitan attitude, coupled with a great passion for music, Montreux is readily considered the capital of the Vaud Riviera. You can marvel at its colourful flowerbeds both in the direction of Vevey and on the way to Chillon Castle, a fascinating example of medieval architecture. Rochers-de-Naye, with its stunning view of the Vaud, Valais, Bernese and French Alps, is also a fantastic destination.

Such a great stay!! Beautiful surroundings, nice staff and overall nice atmosphere:)) loved the public transportation pass included in the stay. Made commuting easier. Also very helpful staff with quite a bit of knowledge!

The overall impression of this place is very good. We got here a bit early but there was no problem leaving our bags in a locked room, when we got back for check-in the staff was very informativ and gave us easy instructions. We stayed in a 6 bed female room, it was a good sized room with large windows and a good view. The bathrooms were clean and washed everyday.
They gave us bus-tickets to travel for free with the bus wich goes all the time in to the city.

Excellent hostel and staff. Close to the castle, a 15 min walk along the lake. The staff were fantastic and even upgraded our room. The place was very clean. Showers were nice and warm. Only bad thing was that many of the hostellers were loud and inconsiderate late in the night as they ran up and down the stairs and talked loudly. Maybe just got a bad bunch. Would recommend staying here though.
