Hammock Plantation is a low-key, local style, safe, family and group friendly Lodge. with 4 rooms and 2 bathrooms (shouwer/toilet), 1 dormroom with 2 bunkbeds, 3 double rooms with 1 queensize bed. we have a pool to relax and a shared kitchen.

Incredible family run business, that love to bring people together but also give you your space. We extended 4 times so far. Highly recommend 💕

Zenia, the owner was warm and welcoming. She offered much information about buses and restaurants.
The pool was refreshing when the beach was a scorcher.Various juices, soft drinks and beer were available for a small fee. Large selection of hammocks available.
Areas to improve on include cleanliness and general upkeep. The whole place is a bit dated and needs attention. Also, this hostel is very noisy. Highway and animal noises are constant. If you are a light sleeper, maybe no!

Located in a quiter area of the coast but probably my favourite part. Two bueatiful local beaches and ocean pools nearby.
The hostel itself has one dorm room and a handful of privates so you might only have 10-15 people here at a time. There can be more hammocks than people at times 😂
I loved my stay and the family are so friendly and helpful. It is just remote but ideal if you are looking for that.
