Queenstown is amazing and this hostel is cheap and slap bang in the centre so that’s great. It’s pretty old though, homely feels in the kitchen but the rest of it is, you get what you get for the price

Given the location being Queenstown and Queenstown is expensive, the location and price were fine. However, there is a lot of deferred maintenance. We had an ensuite, which was unexpected. The shower dripped all the time. There was a fair amount of mold in the shower. Staffing was limited but they were nice. Parking is really limited. Dining and lounge space was limited. Personally, I would not book again. We had a car so away from center might have been a better idea and then use the bus.

Alright for one night. Our room was full of stuff, turned out it didn’t belong to anyone staying in the room but to someone else who had a key and came and picked it up in the middle of the night… Kitchen lacking in utilities, not the cleanest. Wifi worked fine.
