Go here if you want a super welcoming staff and a personal, yet quiet and chill backpacker experience. Clean and professional. Close to everything you might need. I very much appreciated the stay.

B.I.G is the best hostel every! And by far the best hostel in Cape Town, so do yourself a favour and book here! At my stay there, which got prolonged by a week, I got the best service one could ever hope for. I would definitely stay here again. It's clean, safe and super friendly. Easy to get around. To everyone at BIG, thank you so much for all the help and love :)

I loved the staff and information and connections that I made. I would say that as a solo traveler, the value was not particularly good. This was most expensive accommodation I had had in three countries in Africa, and definitely not the highest quality.. that said, if you are willing to stay in the dorm, or you’re a couple, the value for the money is much better.
