Staff was very nice, the room (private) was comfortable, if tiny. Great kitchen and common space.

The room left a lot to be desired. We didn’t expect luxury, but however we did expect to be able to actually stand up and get dressed in our room. The double room was essentially a box with a bed in it... with a sloping ceiling so my boyfriend couldn’t lie properly in the bed as the ceiling sloped. The window was also a skylight so you couldn’t open the window when it rained so the “room” got horribly hot. The staff at reception on our arrival were also pretty unwelcoming.

Booked as the original hostel we wanted was full for NYE.
Good points:
- it has great kitchens
- quite sociable in the kitchen areas
- regular cleaning
- helpful staff
Niggles:
- It’s a little far out and up a long side street
- WiFi is awful, not good enough for a WhatsApp call
- hostels split over two sites with the first being much nicer
- not enough bathrooms on the 2nd site for no of people, often had to wait
