We are operating a homestay registered with the Ministry of Tourism and Culture Malaysia.

A number of newly touched-up, Malaysian style chalets with fan and attached bathroom. We also have an 8 bed dormitory available at a backpacker friendly price.

Set within nature, our guests have access to a garden by the sea, with tables where you can enjoy a cup of tea and take in the beautiful surroundings.

Reconnect with nature and explore this beautifully unspoiled island with hiking and kayaking.

A place to relax and refresh your mind, body and soul after travelling. We have wifi access.

Barkat Chalets is the perfect location for a weekend getaway if you want to explore the off beaten tracks of Langkawi. I had a lovely stay waking up to buffalos in the morning, going fishing in noon and star gazing at night. Big thank you to Shade and family for the warm hospitality!
