Sophie's Hostel is tucked in Prague’s New Town (Nove Mesto) which is steeped in authentic culture and home to an eclectic mix of local restaurants, cafes, and shops. New Town borders Old Town allowing easy access to the historical center and Wenceslas Square by foot or by tram. Our location is ideal, especially for those who seek a wee bit of refuge from the tourist crowds.

Sophie's Hostel also offers an on-site bar/cafe with daily happy hour and a wonderful breakfast daily 7-12 (not included). 24-hour reception with no lock-out or curfew, secure luggage room and air-conditioned private rooms upon request (based on availability). Super friendly staff, and a relaxed atmosphere. Nothing lacked in terms of facilities. Great location in the Vinohrady district, away from the hustle and bustle in the more touristy district, but without being too far away from sights. I stayed for two nights and unfortunately missed out on the organized events that week, but overall the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. For a tranquil and generally high quality hostel I’d definitely stay here again!

Very friendly staff and nice rooms. Was very hard to get a sleep cause of the loud noises from outside the windows, but overall a perfect hostel.
