All in all the hostel was very good, but the rooms were a little too crowded and warm. I think some small changes could make the atmosphere way more social, like putting in some more coaches in the top floor where people could just hang out and get to know each other. The roof top was great and the staff super friendly! :)

The private room was adequate, the staff at the desk were very helpful. Unfortunately no hot water in the bathrooms which has a pungent odour. The common room lacked atmosphere and there was lots of noise and yelling all night. I had my food and drink stolen from the fridge, had someone attempting to enter my room at 1am. The crowd was extremely shady here. Can't recommend this place sadly. Avoid!

I enjoyed my stay at Red Nest! I did not realize it was sister to the Purple Nest and was nice to find out I had access to hostel events from there. The room was clean and recently renovated. The bathrooms were less nice and the rest of the place was a bit chaotic but hostel life as expected. Maybe next time, I will try Purple Nest instead! The staff was awesome, overly kind and helpful!
