TUCANO HOUSE SUMMER HOSTEL - HOSTELWORLD
Welcome to Tucano House Backpackers!
We are a Friendly Hostel located on the magical Island of Florianopolis, off the south coast of Brazil. Owned and run by a friendly out-going team of local & international staff, we're here to show you the true island charm of Floripa & everything it has to offer!
During the low season between the period from 16/08 to 16/12 we will be working only with rents of private rooms with monthly and daily rents, unfortunately we will not be offering 24 hour reception services, bar, dinners, breakfast and tours.
These services will be offered again from 12/16 when we will start our summer season.
Our rooms are sunny & spacious perfect for relaxing and working for those doing home office
We are perfectly located in the heart of a beautiful suburb which rests on the bank of a lagoon called Lagoa da Conceição. Lagoa is known for its buzz and vibe and is the home to Floripa's best known night clubs, bars, restaurants & shops. It is a short 10 minute drive(or a leisurely 40 minute walk) to the most famous beaches on the Island- Praia Mole & Joaquina, where you can soak up the sun and enjoy the natural beauty(and beauties!) of Brazil.

Me and a friend stayed here for 6 days during the Carneval. We had lots of fun (and alcohol), the hostel has a good atmosphere. Most of the staff is very nice, wifi was good some places. We stayed in the female dorm which we were happy with! But we had to ask if they could turn on the AC every night because they forgot. Pool is very small. Breakfast was good! Would stay again! 😊

Great hostel, really good location! pool was great too! only criticism is they advertised having bikes available to ride but the only bikes they had had broken brakes. Still a brilliant hostel though!

Super nice place to connect with people, they do communal dinners & drinks and everyone goes out together - loved the vibe and the location, definitely the best hostel I stayed in in floripa!
