Kimchee Busan Downtown Guesthouse is our brand new and friendly guesthouse near the exciting Seomyeon area in Busan. We are only 1 minute away from Beomnaegol station on Line 1. We have space for over 100 people and so you will be able to meet many travellers from all around the world. Nearby you will find the many attractions of Seomyeon area and Haeundae, the most popular beach area in Busan.
Busan is perfect for exploring the southern part of South Korea as well. By Bus, Train or Airplane you can conveniently reach Daegu, Ulsan or Jeju and the surrounding countryside for trips. We hope to welcome you here soon!

I really enjoyed my stay at Kimchee Busan Guesthouse! Aljaz was incredible so if you go there while he still works there you should hang around him! :)

The good:
-location
-big kitchen
-towels and slippers free
- reception staff nice and helpful!
The bad:
- no curtains for each bed
- no private lamp for each bed
- no breakfast which is common in Korea ( toast and jam and coffee would have sufficed)
- a lot of levels and the common room does not indorse conversation and friendliness
- cleaning staff had an eerie feeling and would barge in the room turn on the light clean a few things and then would go.
- lockers require you to bring a lock.

Easy to access, close to public transport, restaurants, cafes. Very good for sleeping in. Probably because it was winter but the vibes were a bit low.
