beautiful pressed steel ceilings and intricate woodwork that takes you back in time.
Set in lovely gardens in the centre of town, we are on a quiet side street two blocks from everything. We have a great team with local knowledge to help you have a great time in Westport. base yourself here and explore the northern west coast.
We have ensuite double ,twin , and shared rooms available and it is possible to pitch a tent. Warm fire in winter and central heating, great outdoor spaces for summer.

Clean facilities and large kitchen. Weird vibe though, think there were a few locals living there permanently.

Another excellent hostel with everything we needed

Considering my stay was during shoulder season, there weren’t many other guests there (other than locals staying there long term). The building was FREEZING. I had to boil water for my Nalgene bottle for bed. The thermometer showed 13 Celsius in the common space. We couldn’t turn our wall heaters on.
The kitchen was unorganized. People living there long term left their dirty dishes as if they were at home (didn’t consider others).
Otherwise, bedroom was clean & the kitchen had the basics.
