Freesurf Camp & Hostel is a new friendly hostel located in Ferrel, next to Baleal, Peniche, perfect location. We offer the possibility to our guests to take surf lessons with one of our certified surf teachers. After a day spent at the beach, nothing better than enjoy our amazing sea view over Berlengas Island on our terrace and relax in the pool while watching the overwhelming sunsets of the west coast of Portugal. A TV with cable channels, as well as a CD player are featured. Some units have a seating area where you can relax. Enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while looking out at the sea or garden.

Situated in an agricultural reserve area, halfway between Almagreira and Baleal beach, Freesurf Camp & Hostel is close enough to allow our guests to enjoy all the beaches and nightlife of the area, without being bothered by all the hustle and bustle.

Lovely view and great Hostel. Was a bit far from the main town, but that's not a big deal depending on what you're looking for. Bathrooms could use some racks in the showers to hold your things so that you don't have to step out of the shower every time to get your soaps, etc. Plenty of lockers but they are metal and a bit small so noisy to open and close, and hard to fit a backpack inside. Staff was great and so nice. Overall really nice hostel.

Loved this hostel - wish I stayed longer. Choose it for the surf lessons and while they are not free (free in the name doesn’t mean “gratisâ€) €40/person for a surf lesson that requires no external booking or planning is really convenient especially if you are traveling through. Knocked a star off location only because I feel like it might be difficult to get to without a car (I had one) but it’s clearly possible as others in the hostel did not come by car. Beds were really nice and the room was big - having

Loved my stay here! So peaceful and one of the nicest hostels I’ve stayed at! Pool and sunset view were incredible! Staff were so welcoming, helpful and lovely!
