Hostel was ok with a good atmosphere. Location was great but the cost was too dear even with it being in Norway. Staff member Alex was helpful. Unfortunately northern lights tour was cancelled

Highly recommend for anyone looking for a cozy, reasonably-priced hostel in Tromso. The hostel is small so there aren’t that many people, but the ones you do meet are generally very nice, interesting, and looking to socialize. The hostel is close to everything you need (including some 24/7 7-11s which comes in handy), and you can always just chill with other travelers in the common room. Staff members were nice and helpful. If the rooms had lockers it would be a solid 10/10.

Lovely classic hostel vibe. Great, friendly staff, though rules/procedures/policies could be stated a little more clearly. Cute dog onsite, and hot showers/clean bathrooms.
Mattresses are Very soft! For better or worse.
