Located in Coimbra´s prime area of ​​Jardim do Penedo da Saudade and in a protected area of ​​UNESCO Heritage. Inspired by academic experience and Coimbra traditions, guests are welcomed to the experiences in Coimbra.
You can count on a roof-top with a great view to the city. Breakfast is included. Common areas are inviting for reading.
All bedrooms are decorated with a University's course theme, along with fully equipped private bathrooms.


Attractions in the area include S. Sebastião Aqueduct, the University of Coimbra, the Botanical Garden, Penedo da Saudade Garden and Santa Clara a Velha Monastery, among other attractions.

Beautifully renovated former grand home, atop a hill overlooking Coimbra and the river. Short walk down to Botanic Gardens and Univ of Coimbra and then gentle stroll down to Baixa through old streets. Superb staff, helpful with recommendations on dining and travel. Private room on ground floor had comfortable bed and ensuite. Some slight noise from upstairs occupants. Continental breakfast included of pastries, muesli, cold meats, eggs and fresh fruit. On the balcony with lovely views.
