I loved my stay at at The Host! It was very easy to get into town, although you do have to walk for a little bit, but it is very easy. It’s easy to access the central bus station from here and there are many restaurants and bars nearby. The hostel is very homey! Many friendly people! If you speak English, be prepared to practice your Spanish. Not many English speakers were staying during my stay, but everyone was super friendly!

It's rare that hostel staff goes out of their way to try and make everyone feel included. Several times I found myself being the only one staying who didn't speak Spanish, but that didn't bother them. The staff would come over to see how I'm doing and try to make conversation in English. This also pushed me to try and communicate with the broken Spanish I had! They also make sure to invite everyone to their nightly events with no pressure.
Hats off to this hostel and their staff. Lovely place.

My first time staying at a hostel and it set the bar high. Be ready socialize, and be generous and inviting. The staff here makes the experience as they hang out and go out with you. Great experience.
