There is no staff on site so you have to communicate with them before you arrive. They don’t give you any information beforehand. I got lucky a guest opened the door otherwise I would have stood there for hours bc there is no doorbell and no one picked up when I called. The house itself is like an apartment and it seems like there are a lot of longterm people staying like an airbnb so don’t expect hostel vibes. It’s easy to get to Newark Penn station, NYC and EWR.

When I arrived to the hostel I was told by the host that there was a problem and there were no more beds available. As a solution he offered me to stay in a sofa in the living room without any discount. Since it was already late I had no other option. The hostel was ok, but the owner could have sent me a message before arriving.
