IGUANA HOSTEL has a chill-out atmosphere with plenty of open-air common areas and a garden. With a max capacity for 23 people, is a guarantee to make new friends. Curtains in the dorms give you an extra privacy but there're always activities and cooking together going on to socialize!
At this moment we do NOT serve breakfast but you will be able to use our fully equipped kitchen facilities and the market and supermarket are just one block from the hostel. Also the nicest and most popular cafes are within a 3 minute walk. Coffee in the morning and drinking water are included. IMPORTANT: Reception is open from 8am to 10pm.
Travellers love Iguana's LOCATION: amazing food market, supermaket and handcraft market and local transport to nearby indigenous villages and eco-parks are just two blocks from the hostel, as there are several nice cafes within 3 minutes walk. Main square is 7 minutes walk.

It was a very good and welcoming atmosphere in this hostel. People liked to explore the area and I always found someone to join my activities. In the evenings we sat together and had a great time. The only thing I didn't really like was that there's only one shower for the whole hostel and 2 very cramped small toilets. Therefore those areas are getting easily messy.

Great hostel! It’s small but it had a really nice chill atmosphere. The volunteer staff really made all the difference, they were friendly and created a fun atmosphere. If I return to San Cris I will definitely stay here again

really great place. stayed here loads over my time in mexico. everevertyone is freindly and helpful, beds are warm and private, and a great price. only drawback is the showers arent great, but thats no real biggie.
