We had the best time at Helvetia Hostel! The private apartment is only a short walk away from Hvar main pier, giving us perfect access to restaurants and bars in town as well as beaches. Rino was an excellent and accommodating host. We loved Hvar so much we decided to extend our stay! If you can, I highly recommend attending a wine night hosted by Rino - it’s a great opportunity to meet other travelers and to sample local wine at an amazing price!

Loved this hostel! The day before I had been betrayed by a meat burek and subsequently fell ill, so I wanted a nice calm hostel to recover. Helvetia Hostel was perfect for that. The hosts are a father son duo who are both absolutely wonderful. (The son is kind of cute too haha) No complaints about the facilities. It’s also located perfectly, right in the center of old town. The wine tasting hosted by hostel was also great! It’s def a calmer older vibe (not a party hostel) but still social!

This was an amazing hostel! Location is incredible and the terrace is a beautiful place to hang out and relax. Amazing hospitality from everyone there, Rino even ran a wine night for us with local food and wine which was a highlight of our trip. We can’t wait to visit again!
