Oasis Backpackers Hostel Granada is a very social hostel located on a pedestrian street at the base of the Albayz?n, near the Gran V?a and the Moroccan market at Calle de la Alcaicer?a, making it easy to exploring all of Granada on foot. It?s little wonder this hostel was ranked among the top 10 small hostels worldwide at the 2010 Hoscars! We like their relaxing patio with a BBQ and the views from the rooftop terrace.

Oasis Granada offers something for everyone. Stay in a traditional Andalusian building with beautiful views of the Alhambra. A stay at Oasis offers a chance to get to know Granada, all by foot.
Where are we? In the very centre of the city of Granada at the base of the albaicin, within its gorgeous arabian streets.
Oasis is the place to stay for anyone looking for a taste of culture, be it literally, in the wealth of tapas restaurants and bars, or in its gorgeous castles and
famous vistas overlooking the Sierra Nevada. And! we’re only 15 minutes from the train station.
We have open mic nights, with musicians from all over Granada playing, or simply take a cocktail to the roof terrace to enjoy Granada from above.
When we’re not serving our custom made menu we offer Big Eat Nights, where we all get together to eat family style, Paella, BBQ, tapas etc.
As well as Tapas tours of the city's best food, Flamenco shows in the famous caves of Granada, bar crawls. Yoga hiking. The list goes on.

Staff was helpful and the place was clean. Location is prime. The roof terrace is beautiful! My room was on the top floor which was nice and quiet. It's not the most social hostel but you can definitely meet people if you want to, and the free walking tour was great for that. The tour itself was also amazing, would definitely recommend this hostel to everyone.

Mi estancia fue excelente, Ana del staff fue siempre muy amable, la ubicación es excelente, el edificio es amplio y muy agradables los espacios comunes. Cuando vuelva a Granada, seguro vuelvo a hospedarme en Oasis, muchas gracias. ðŸ™ðŸ¼

The first night in the hostel there were several older men (late 40s early 50s) staying in the room with me. I know I signed up for the 8 bed mixed dorm, but I expected most of the travelers to be other students around my age. When I came out of the bathroom, some of the men were changing in the room which made me very uncomfortable. The next day they left and were replaced by a couple, the man was sleeping on the bunk below me. I was woken up on my second morning by the two having s*x. Scarred.

I think what puts us ahead of the rest is that we offer our guests a good variety of activities to do during their stay, such as walking tours in the mornings and evenings, a 'street art and caves tour' that gets you to some of the best unknown spots in Granada, our nice tapas tour and a nature tour to Los Cahorros natural park. All of these are free, of course.
If you just want to enjoy life at the hostel, you can chill out at the patio, enjoying cheap drinks from the bar, sunbathe in the rooftop terrace, or take an 'Arabic calligraphy workshop' on site. Also, most nights we offer dinner (Paella, BBQ, or just something exotic our chef comes up with) for as little as 4â'¬.
Our staff is a great mix of characters, always happy to help, and the good vibe is one of our strong suits (maybe the price on the drinks helps with that!).
The hostel is ideally suited for everyone who wants to have some fun while getting a good look of what Granada is, and not only what you get in the guide books. While the main age group is between 20s and 30s, we welcome everyone who wants to enjoy our place; we don\'t mind the age or the number. Of course, we are wheelchair-friendly, as we are friendly in every other sense!
