I’ve stayed in about 40 hostels all over the world, and this most be the most expensive one (paid 165 euros for 3 days) compared to what you get. There is no social activities or atmosphere, so if you travel solo you should not book here. The doors slams so loud that it will wake you up. There is no kitchen, just a fridge and a microwave. When I went for a shower in the morning there was only ice cold water left. Only plus is that it’s close to bars and clubs.

The hotel although in a decent location is really poorly planned. There’s no sitting space , there concept of budget hostel is literally shoving beds in every corner of the rooms and filling them up with people.
The vibe at the hostel is soo depressing and little to no effort is being done to improve it.
The bathroom facilities although looked a bit renovated is not user friendly at all.
The worst hostel experience I’ve had in Europe so far.

We're in a traditional canal building just around the corner from Leidseplein, which is one of the main nightlife and entertainment areas in Amsterdam. On a 10-minute walk you can find some of the main museums, such as Anne Frank House, the Van Gogh museum and the Rijksmuseum. In a 15-minute walk you're in the heart of the Red Light District. On a warm day, I think the Vondelpark is a wonderful place to hang out, and if you're looking for quirky souvenirs the Flower Market is a great place to go.
We offer guests the opportunity to book several tours, like free city tours, bike tours and pub crawls. We also rent out bikes to guests.
We pay a lot of attention to detail here here and hygiene is a priority. Because it's a hostel there's not much luxury, but you can definitely expect to have a clean bed and shower.
