It was rather well equipped and clean. The staff were very friendly but there are somw areas for improvement. I think a microwave or 2 should be made available just in case anx maybe a coffee machine so you can get drinks/ heat up snacks if you want. Some of the chairs on the landing areas need replacing because they are broken and I saw someone fall of one. Also I stayed on the 4th floor and there was a rather strong smell of drains so I think that needs to be addressed.

Overall, this property was just okay. It was a great last-minute book where we could sleep and rest while in Madrid. My biggest complaint was the bathrooms. They smelled and just didn't seem clean, especially the showers. I also wish there was somewhere to put my clothes in the shower stalls.
The rooms were really nice. The lockers kept our things safe and the beds were comfy. We actually made a lot of friends in our dorm. I went up to the rooftop bar one night and loved the atmosphere. I can't speak for

In January 2013 the Guardian selected us as one of the 10 best luxury hostels in Europe.
We're really proud of our rooms; all the bunk beds also have an special place where you can store small important things (wallet phones, etc.). In addition, they also have plugs for anything the customer may need for charging phones, cameras, tablets, and computers. All bunk beds have a reading light for not disturbing other guests in the room.
We cater to all types of traveller, from a group of girls to a solo traveller, a family, a couple or a businessman. All have a room in U Hostels. Of course, we are fully adapted to people with disabilities.
