Sort of a mixed bag. Good location, a bit overpriced, nice staff, annoying bathroom lights that switch off every 10 seconds without movement (seriously!). The wifi is unheard of for a hostel, 5htz extenders in every room, worth it to spend the night just to download or stream stuff. Common area is clean and functional but not very cozy or social. All in all a good hostel, and I couldnt find any cheaper in San Sebastian.

I did not enjoy my stay here and will not be coming back. The location was really good, but the praise ends there. The first night I was woken up at midnight because 5 people had to switch rooms in the middle of the night. They said it was because the other room had bed bugs. I was then kept up for another hour while they moved in. And this is a minor grievance, but the automatic lights in the hallway turn off after three seconds of no movement. I found this extremely annoying.

The hostel is quite ok. But being mixed surprised me. Very central, great location for public transport. Quite clean. A convenient solution for budget travellers.
